I was looking for a heart rate monitor to work with iFit on the ProFrom treadmill. This device linked automatically and accurately with my Garmin watch throughout the 33-minute exercise. It's a lot cheaper than the device ProForm sells, so I was nervous, but this works just fine!
I had to google the app that tracks your heart rate, but it is called Heartool, and it allows you to configure the device for your optimal heart rate, and it'll stay that way until changed again if someone else would like to use it.
Did NOT expect this to work with Elite HRV but' it does! Interesting. Working great for a couple weeks so far. You do need to be relatively still to get get accurate rr signals, but don't have to be perfectly still. Previously used wahoo chest straps and this is way more convenient. BT signal doesn't seem to be the strongest, so if you have your phone by the tv while you do cardio so you can see your hr, there's a lag of 10-15 seconds sometimes before you see what zone you're in. Other than that, big fan.
I obtained this to use with my new bike fitness setup. My new bike hasn't arrived yet so I tested it by pairing it with the Polar Beats app on my smartphone. It paired up via Bluetooth right away and I saw my heart beat on the display. It feels comfortable on my arm as the arm band is real soft. I think this will work out when I get a chance to pair it with my bike.
Comfortable and easy to wear. Connected easily with my android to a free app called "cardio training" by angelfmarcos in the app store. This heart rate monitor also connected easily to my PM5 display on a Concept 2 rowing machine. I can't comment on how accurate it is, but it seems accurate and readings are stable.
Extremely easy to connect to bluetooth. Comfortable enough to wear for my hour long workouts and Extremely accurate!
Connects to my Peloton bike and tread! Will recommend and would buy again!
